A guided editor, not a blank page

The CvCy Talent editor walks you through it step by step: personal details, experience, education, skills, summary, then additional sections if needed. At any point, you can import an existing resume: paste the text, and the AI analyzes it and automatically rebuilds a complete structure (identity, summary, experience, education, skills) as structured data, so you don't have to retype everything by hand.

Every field has an "Improve with AI" button, which rewords the text without ever adding numbers, companies, or facts you didn't provide. That rule is explicitly enforced in the instruction given to the model: stay factual, invent nothing. The AI improves phrasing, it doesn't fabricate your experience.

The score out of 100, explained honestly

The score shown while editing is a completeness score, not a writing-quality assessment or an ATS-compatibility test. It's based on a checklist of 15 weighted checks: whether each identity field is filled (name, email, phone, city, country...), whether the summary actually has content, whether at least one experience has both a job title and a company, whether an experience description is non-empty, whether education is complete, whether at least three skills are named, and whether an additional section has content. The final score is the percentage of these criteria met.

In practice: a low score mostly flags missing fields, not bad writing. It's a completion guide while you fill out your resume, not a judgment on its content.

How automatic offer adaptation works

From your base resume, you can trigger an adaptation by giving the target role (and the job description, if you have it). The AI receives your full resume and that context, then rewrites the summary and experience descriptions to highlight what matters for that specific role, and reorders your skills by relevance. It may suggest up to three plausible additional skills to consider, but it never copies the offer's text verbatim.

A safety mechanism then merges the AI's response back onto your original resume field by field: if the model omits a piece of information, the original value is automatically kept. As a result, an adaptation can never silently wipe out data from your resume.

Staying readable by recruiting software

CvCy Talent templates avoid multi-column layouts, nested tables, and graphic elements containing text, which are the leading causes of misreading by the applicant tracking software used by most large companies today.

Keeping every version organized

Your base resume is kept as the reference version. Every adaptation to an offer creates a new, timestamped version tied to the target role, which you can find, edit, or export as PDF or DOCX at any time, without ever overwriting your previous versions.
